HackKU is KU's annual 36-hour hackathon where top university talent gathers to push the envelope by creating innovative solutions to real-world problems, learning cutting-edge technical skills through attending workshops, and networking with industry-leading engineers who serve as mentors and judges.
During Major League Hacking's (MLH) 2023 Hackcon conference, HackKU was highlighted as one of MLH's fastest growing member events. Beginning with a humble 34 participants in 2017 to hosting over 400 students in 2024, we are exploding in size with no plans of slowing down anytime soon. Our goal is to make HackKU25 the largest and most exciting event to date!
