Hades Records

Hades Records is one of the first Romanian independent Hip-hop labels, based in Bucharest. The artist roster includes :Axes,Praetor,Butch,Zeppelin,Criss Blaziny,Ortega,Dj Undoo,Dribbler,Keri ,Veritasaga. Hades Records emerged at the end of 2000, based upon the idea that underground Hip-hop music represents an ideological revolution, a war fought not with fire arms, but rather with the soul and mind as weapons. The goal was to get the voice of new artists heard, being the first independent label that allows artists to be themselves, to create their music without conforming to the boundaries of the industrys commercial clichés. By the end of 2003, based on the experience of the best sound, production, art, booking, artist development and promotion people in the underground industry, Hades Records started building a brand. In just three years, more than 300 concerts have been produced all over Romania under the Hades Records umbrella, and a lot of compilations and promo albums were released independently. In 2006 Hades Records got deeper into bookin and promotion business, and by 2007, Hades Events came to existence as a separate branch, dedicated to producing Hip-hop events.
