HAEMUS

HAEMUS is a Center for Scientific Research and Promotion of Culture establish in 2012. HAEMUS main activities include research, management, publication, education, promotion, and interpretation. Particular attention is given to the dissemination of the cultural heritage of Macedonia and the Balkans through the different kind of publication. The aim is to introduce archaeology, history, and common culture to the professional and public media in an accurate and truthful manner. HAEMUS also provides advice and assistance in the creation of audio-visual materials, and we organize various educational activities (lectures, workshops, seminars, and conferences). HAEMUS manages several educational programs under the slogan of UNESCO’s Open Educational Resources: SCUPINI ROMANI, dedicated to the promotion of the Ancient Roman heritage and culture; Grandma March Day, as a legal cultural bearer of "Custom Martinki", an ICH inscribed on the Representative list of UNESCO, and “Young Explorer”, an educational platform, offering pedagogical products dedicated to the youth. In addition, the organization manages the official UNESCO Club HAEMUS.
