The company was founded in 1927 by August Häußermann as "Lamellen und Kupplungsbau August Häußermann (LuK)''. HÄUSSERMANN manufactures at locations in Esslingen, Heidelberg and Illinois/USA and is consistently certified according to EN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
