The Haiti Executive Antitrust Commission( THEAC ) is the institutional legal body of the Haiti Executive Board to promote competition by enforcing the antitrust laws in the Haitian business sector.
This entity will work to protect economic freedom and opportunity, enforce the protection of intellectual property, and implement regulatory standards and business practices to ensure Haitian consumers are safeguarded, protected, and supported through common sense regulations and great business environment to enable for more competitors to thrive and increase market access and develop more sustainable and effective products and improve their services to their customers and clients. All this will help create more competitive markets and improve business outcomes for all participants and improve our market economy for the better to benefit all stakeholders and consumers.
THEAC will be the body that represents the Haitian consumers and work with international partners and local authorities to develop better mechanisms and strategies to manage regulatory compliance and work toward improving the business environment for the better for all .
