HakuDevelopment is a luxury lifestyle property developer whose heritage is rooted in understanding the dreams, desires, and needs of those discerning owners who already have everything. The Founder of HakuDevelopment, Michael Chen, was formerly the President of International Marketing for one of the largest VIP hospitality businesses in the world. In that role, he and his team designed bespoke VIP experiences generating over US$1B in revenue each year. From chaffeuring VIP guests via helicopter and landing on the first tee of one of the most exclusive golf courses in the world to having a butler bring hot coffee mid-slope to a VIP ski guest, nothing was too much trouble nor beyond the realm of possibilities. On one occasion, the team even arranged a tasting of rare Chateau Latour wines on a private jet hosted by none other than the CEO of Chateau Latour himself. The team was only constrained by its own ability to conceive of the next sensational service experience. In Niseko, HakuDevelopment has completed one property, Hakuchōzan and is developing its second property, HakuVillas. Completed in 2016, Hakuchōzan has set a new standard in Niseko for luxury resort living. HakuVillas is currently under development and will open in 2019.
