Halifax OBGYN is full-service obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) practice that has served Volusia and Flagler Counties for over 35 years. Currently, We are the only group practice on staff at both Halifax Health and Advent Daytona Hospitals. We are the only group that provides both physician and midwife deliveries, focusing on reducing cesarean sections (including vaginal birth after previous cesarean section.) With 11 women's health providers on our staff, we the ability to schedule new and established patients quickly. When seen by a mid level professional, women know that they will be quickly referred to one of our surgeons and obstetricians if indicated. With two full time and one part time sonographer, same day imaging is available in most situations. Minimally invasive procedures can be performed in our office, in our ambulatory surgical center at Twin Lakes, and at both Halifax and Advent Hospitals.
Our physician staff includes Drs Pamela Carbiener, Patricia Esquivel, Zac Tyser, Maria Novoa and Sarah Marino. We have two physician assistants, Ashley Clark and Marina Von Zimmerman. Brittany Torrey; and, our certified nurse midwives are Cindy Feldman and Beth Rodriguez--both with decades of experience in high touch, low tech births.
We offer care for teenagers, women in their reproductive years, and women that are pre and post-menopausal. They also have infertility services, contraception planning, and 4D Sonograms. We currently accept some Medicaid and all insurance plans except for Humana. The practice is located at 1890 LPGA Blvd, Suite 160 in Daytona Beach, FL, and is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm.
