Hammer Down Drilling specializes in the pre-drilling of bedrock, hard pan and cobble for installing ground screws and helical foundations for solar fields. Pre-drilling allows an alternative way to install solar foundations in troublesome ground conditions where other foundations are not easily installed or are not cost effective. As solar construction continues to flourish we have recognized the need of drills and experienced drillers to meet the demands of pre-drilling for solar foundations. We have assembled a team of operators and managers with over 30 years of combined experience in various forms of rock drilling to fulfill this demand. In order to take full advantage of our team’s experience we have put our operators in new, top tier Furukawa drills. Our drills are self-contained and are efficient at pre-drilling foundations quickly.
