Mental Health is as important as Physical Health .... Hammersley Homes’ work is about enriching the lives of vulnerable people who suffer from enduring mental illness and struggle to live independently, through the provision of 1) our Outreach Programme; 2) Day Centres and 3) a nationwide network of supported housing, homes for life, which will reduce the loneliness and chaos so often present, and offer safety, security, comfort and friendship - for life. Currently these vulnerable people tend to fall into one of 4 categories: * those who live with their families who one day won't be there for them * those who are homeless * those who live alone, often in social housing * those in hospital or prison We want, through compassion and kindness, to introduce a sense of purpose and community into their lives, keeping them safe - out of hospital, out of trouble with the law - whilst at the same time, relieving pressure on the public purse. We want to help these vulnerable people to live their best life. Please help us to help them. We are looking for Corporate Partners to work with, for mutual benefit. We are always looking for volunteers to support our work in all sorts of areas, from research and marketing to fundraising and event organising. Join our team!
