Hamoon Stone Mine

The Dolomite mine of southern Amir Divan is located in the Jashak mountain range. The mineral mass in this mine is calculated at about 500 million tons, distributed over 164 hectares. It is worth noting that the excess of 50 million tons of these resources is ready for exploitation and processing after expert mining explosions. According to the geological investigations, the mineral resources of this region consist of Calcium and Magnesium, significantly, which could be used as raw materials in different industries. According to the comparative and field investigations, the resources in this mine have high quality in terms of the stone strength, mineral, and minimal stripping ratio. The ores of this mine have been utilized in major construction projects (i.e., constructing a wharf and breakwater at the LNG site in the South Pars region). Furthermore, the ores have been employed to advance the construction project of the Asia Aram pier and wharf in Kangan. . Likewise, the ores have been exported to Persian Gulf countries including Kuwait and Qatar to be employed in construction projects. It is approximately 180 nautical miles from the nearest loading wharf of Deyr port to Qatar. The Southern Amir Divan mine has more than 30 ha of area, which is available for infrastructure and construction of industrial structures like a crusher. Therefore, the products could be stored in significant quantities and diversity (various types of ores and granulations) in this zone. Moreover, the ores and other resources of this mine are accessible via three passages, which allows 3-4 contractor teams to start operating in this area, simultaneously. Access to port wharves is crucial for any mineral resource. The southern Amir Divan Dolomite Mine is located in a strategic location with appropriate access to Laver, Deyr, and Kangan ports. This means that the ores, resources, and products could easily be exported to the Persian Gulf countries.
