About HULC - Hand + Upper Limb Centre

Our mission is to provide an exceptional, evidence based hand, wrist and upper limb therapy service. We are dedicated to restoring function, reducing pain and getting people back to doing what they love as quickly as possible. Our vision is to be the leading provider of hand, wrist, and upper limb therapy services in our community and beyond. Through collaboration, education and advocacy we aim to raise awareness about the importance of hand and upper limb rehabilitation. Founded in 2024, we now have 13 locations across Perth and the South West of Western Australia, located at: Claremont, Murdoch, Subiaco, Joondalup, Baldivis, South Perth, Edgewater, Midland, Cockburn, Osborne Park, Bunbury, Vasse and Margaret River. We have over 150 years of combined experience in the specialist area of hand and upper limb occupational therapy in Western Australia. Our highly qualified and experienced therapists practice in the non-surgical assessment and management of hand, wrist, elbow, and upper limb injuries and disorders. We work closely with a variety of health professionals, including surgeons, general practitioners, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals, to develop the most suitable program for your injury or condition. Our OTs have extensive experience working with a variety of patients - from professional and recreational athletes, complex workers' compensation cases, catastrophic industrial and motor vehicle accidents, general rehabilitation, to aged care patients. Treatment methods include splinting, exercise, wound care and other non-invasive techniques, as well as joint mobilisations, stretching, and active and resisted exercises to assist in the recovery from injury, surgical operations and hand disorders. All therapists are members of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) and participate in regular professional development to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date and evidence-based treatment techniques and care.
