Hand In Hand AUC

Hand in Hand is a non-profit student-led organization at AUC. HIH specializes in serving the elderly in the Egyptian community, who receive meager attention in elder homes around the country as well as launching micro-projects in poverty-stricken districts to emphasize community development. Alongside serving elders, Hand in Hand aims at creating a better tomorrow for the entire community and leaving a lasting and effective imprint on the lives of all. Hand in Hand is based on the belief that no should have no one, whether it being achieved through visiting elders’ homes and spending some precious time they otherwise will not normally receive, or through the collection of donations for several causes. Hand in Hand is a one-of-a-kind community organization and has its own distinctive goal that is different from any other community organization on campus. Since its establishment, the club has since evolved to what it is now. For Hand in Hand, it is always time to make a change and assist those who once cared for us. With their main focus on elders, they continued to serve them, alongside other age groups, even during the pandemic. There was a shift to strong marketing and working with their team off-campus to still serve the mandate of the club.
