At HandScape, we believe mobile devices can be enhanced with a richer, more ergonomic interaction model that uses grips with touchpads on the back of the tablet and our software and API's. HandScape first invented a “smart case”, the HandyCase for iPad Air, as a prototype of their technology. The HandyCase will attach to the back of an iPad Air and enable the user to interact with the iPad using all fingers from the back panel and “see” their hands through the iPad. Currently, HandyCase is available for iPhone (Model 6 & 6+) and iPad (Model Air and Mini).
Our technology is helping to create a new standard for computer-human interfaces of both tablets and heads up displays (HUDs). App developers will use the HandScape software and SDK to provide an intuitive means to see, tap and swipe on-screen objects without obscuring the screen withtheir hands. The smart case allows for 1-handed and 2-handed interaction with games, maps and other next-generation applications.
