HandsOn River Region was established in 1974 to serve as a centralized hub for volunteerism in the River Region of Alabama. Serving 14 counties in South Central Alabama, our programs and services now include: Volunteer Management, 211 Information & Referral, Homeless Management Information Systems, Coordinated Entry, and Christmas Clearinghouse.
Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and connect people, information & services to meet local needs and build a strong, caring community.
