-Our Mission- H.A.N.E is a community of educators that specializes in elevating the public engagement efforts of mission-driven institutions. -Our Vision- Your success is our success. When your institution delivers on its humanities mission, the general public becomes more empathetic as humans, curious as scholars, and connected as a community. -Our Method- H.A.N.E operates independent of any single institution as to address diverse needs in many places. H.A.N.E. engages with partners in these ways: 1. Producing and executing original programs. - Conducted in first or third person modes. 2. Assisting partners to execute their own programs. - This includes workshopping and skill building. 3. Educating partners on best practices in humanities oriented public programming. 4. Researching primary and secondary materials to synthesize into usable teaching content. 5. Connecting partners with relevant contacts in our professional network. - Our Partners - HANE has collaborated with the following institutions/organizations: Weymouth Historical Society (1864 ACW Encampment) Plymouth Cordage Company Museum (200th Anniversary Celebrations) Springfield Armory National Historic Site (Armed Forces Day)
