In a recent article by Forbes contributor, Bruce Lee, an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, shared a report published in May 2018 by Cigna, that in surveying more than 20,000 Americans over the age of 18 on the UCLA Loneliness Scale, a 20-item questionnaire frequently referenced as the academic standard to gauge loneliness, there were alarming findings such as:
