Happy Faces Foundation is geared towards empowering women to become self-confident, self-employed, and independent individuals.
Our mission is to initiate and create sustainable employment opportunities for women from diverse economic backgrounds. We also believe in their holistic development and regularly facilitate various social, cultural and wellness based programmes.
Happy Faces Foundation was founded in 2018, from a small space in Ahmedabad by Reeta Bhagat who envisions an empowered, happier society by encouraging women to become self-sustaining individuals.
Our workshops are now across Ahmedabad, Karnali, Dharsimel and Mani Nageshwar where women are trained in macramé and weaving with cotton cords and natural banana fibres. We have about 300 artisans working with us. So far, our community has catered to different hotels with homemade snacks, various events with hampers and handmade goodies and made beautifully designed macrame and banana fibre products.
