Har Dum Foundation

We started the ”Betiyaan Parhao, Betiyaan Bachao” (trans. Educate your daughters, Save your daughters) library initiative, raising over 53 million Pakistani rupees (USD 300,000+) from the Edhi Foundation, ARY Digital, and family and friends to build 53 libraries in 47 villages of rural Pakistan. Our effort provided over 250,000 books and digital resources to more than 100,000 girls, significantly enhancing women literacy in underserved communities like Thar. Our efforts were recognised by Nobel Peace Prize Winner Malala Yousefzai, Ex-PM and Chairman PTI Imran Khan, and Bilquis Bano Edhi (Wife of Abdul Sattar Edhi. Har Dum Foundation merged with the Edhi Foundation to further its mission of building a better and a safer Pakistan.
