HARDCORK® is a biobased composite material made from cork, fibers and a thermosetting matrix. Our high-performance NFC (natural fiber composite) is lightweight, has very good mechanical properties in terms of compressive, tensile as well as shear strength and has outstanding damping. Further more the composite is waterproof and rot-resistant. Our material has a high insulation and low coefficient of expansion. HARDCORK® is known to be exceptionally good for the environment having negative CO2 emissions.
