Harpercollins Canada company information, Employees & Contact Information

HarperCollinsCanada Ltd was created in 1989, the result of the worldwide merging of two long-standing and prestigious publishing companies, the American company Harper & Row and the British publisher William Collins & Sons Canada, Ltd. Since then, it has become a prestigious and award-winning company with strengths in literary and commercial fiction, non-fiction, children's books, cookbooks, and reference and spiritual books. HarperCollinsCanada publishes fiction, non-fiction and books for children, as well as religious and reference books. HarperCollins imprints in Canada include HarperCollins, HarperPerennial, HarperTrophyCanada, Collins, HarperWeekend, and Patrick Crean Editions. These imprints publish many of Canada’s finest writers and most respected personalities, including David Bergen, Emma Donoghue, Theo Fleury, Charlotte Gray, Lawrence Hill, Amanda Lang, Kenneth Oppel, and Lloyd Robertson, as well as writers, celebrities and leading authorities from around the world, such as Michael Chabon, Tim Flannery, Richard Ford, and Pete Townsend. HarperCollinsCanada also distributes America’s Test Kitchen, Zondervan, HarperCollins, Collins, Perennial and Harper Paperbacks from the US and the UK. HarperCollins was the first publisher to digitize its content and create a global digital warehouse to protect the rights of its authors, meet consumer demand, and generate additional business opportunities.
