Youth Empowerment and Maternal Health
VISION:
HarryCares visualizes a generation of assertive youth with a high self-esteem and self confidence to become who they want to become.
Our prioritized focus on Maternal health is in our vision and belief that every mother and baby stays healthy pre/post birth.
Every individual inspired may inspire others to do more which in turn benefits, and develops our society at large
We have reached over 11000 youth and community members in Nigeria and Canada through our community centre visits, public speaking engagements, Women and Girls program, Book and Shoe Drives, Tuition program, Peace Ambassadors & Youth Pathways Programs, Annual Christmas Event, Basketball Camps and tournament.
METHOD:
HarryCares aims to develop communities through programs such as Women and Girls Initiative SuperMom project, Peace Ambassadors program, annual HarryCares Christmas event, basketball & Life Skills clinics.
Through the SuperMom project, we creating a platform for women to educate themselves on managing motherhood (pre-post natal) and self development by removing barriers to accessing maternal health care & nutrition.
Through the HCF Peace Ambassadors, we continue to create a sustainable system while spreading the awareness of peace, bridging gaps, and growing the game of basketball through our
