Hartpury students progress into many professional careers, with many securing roles directly linked to their studies—such as Veterinary Technician, Animal Welfare Officer, Microbiologist, Zookeeper, and Sports Coach. We support students in shaping their journey and standing out from the crowd through personalised careers coaching, CV reviews, and enrichment workshops. We focus on skills and progression into employment with a keen focus on work based learning. High-quality work experience is a vital part of preparing students for the world of work. It helps bridge the gap between education and employment, while also offering businesses fresh perspectives, stronger community links, and co-creation opportunities with our staff. We encourage and look to inspire students to develop subject confidence and an entrepreneurial mindset. Through hubs and professional support, we foster skill development and use real-world industry connections to enhance confidence to succeed on their career journey. The Employability, Skills and Careers team offers Careers Information, Advice and Guidance to all students across Hartpury University and Hartpury College.
