We train and inspire the next generation of health care leaders to improve health care delivery systems and mitigate public health risks around the world. Our faculty works on compelling and important public health problems, including safer and more efficient health care delivery, expanded health insurance coverage that eliminates disparities, and designing and improving the performance of entire health care systems. Our researchers apply decision science, health economics, health care management, quality and access, and policy research to issues such as gun safety and suicide prevention, homelessness, the opioid crisis, nutrition and food security, the pandemic’s effects on health systems, and the geographic determinants of health. Our academic programs give students the critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to address a wide variety of challenges in health care delivery, public policy, and public health.
