In 2011 Mitchell Swaback Charities, Inc. created Harvest Compassion Center, a local food and clothing bank in North Phoenix. Today, MSC, Inc. fully funds and operates 3 locations in the Phoenix area; all locations offer free food, hygiene, baby, home and clothing to the 2.6 million Arizonans living below the poverty line. HCC's are set-up like mini-marts, shopping carts included! What sets us apart from other food banks is our priority to provide dignity, respect, and choice to every client.
Our Mission: To provide food and clothing in a hope filled environment to the underserved in the greater Phoenix area.

HCC is a donation based and volunteer run center, making it impossible to run without our faithful volunteers. If you’re looking to serve your local community, we’d love to have you complete a volunteer application. As a volunteer, you’ll be sorting donations, stocking shelves and shopping with our clients We do ask that all volunteers be 13 years of age or older.
