Hate Your Deck is a storytelling agency that helps founders with deck creation and fundraising. Founded and operated by investors and accelerator operators, the team got tired of spending more time giving advice when they could just roll up their sleeves and do the work alongside founders. HYD provides a few key services: Deck Feedback: Bring in a guest VC to provide a video review of the deck...which allows founders to see the difference between 'where they think the deck is' and 'what their customers are understanding.' Deck Storytelling: Support in extracting the story the investor needs to hear, anticipating due diligence questions, and preparing for the VC 'interview.' Deck Completion: Bringing in a graphic designer to finish the deck. Outreach Support: Help in finding investors, building a database, cultivating outreach emails, and managing the fundraising process.
