We're set in a beautiful, sustainably run estate & have been working for the past 70 years to bring people & organisations together. We aim to encourage people to make a considered difference to today’s society & to our future. Our place provides an ethical, peaceful and inspirational environment to enable individuals & organisations to grow & develop. We focus our work on four key areas: A Place to Grow Hawkwood's Education Programme Providing online education, courses & events, as well as on-site both residential & non-residential courses in the arts, music, wellbeing, future-thinking and transformative leadership. Some of our impressive partners including Strike a Light (Gloucester), The Courtyard Theatre (Hereford), The Roundhouse (London), English Touring Opera, Bristol Old Vic and The Royal Court Theatre. A Place to Explore Hawkwood has been generously supported by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and DEFRA to fund the project: "Improving Our Visitor Offer: A Place to Explore". We'll be creating a visitor exploration hub & community cafe, alongside converting a storeroom into a new open studio and gallery space. We have expanded our visitor car park & resurfaced areas for accessibility.
