Hazéls

Hazéls is a new concept music-led wine bar & restaurant located at 5 Verulam Road in St Albans. The space captures elegance and warmth created by local craftsmen and features an oak bar, high top tables, a custom-built vinyl library & a vintage sound system. The concept was inspired by old Japanese Jazz Kissas, also known as listening bars. For this reason, you'll find the music at Hazéls is louder than background, designed to create a comforting, laid back audio exploration for music lovers to enjoy. Chef Drew Knight’s menu is designed for sharing and inspired by classical French cookery. Using seasonal produce and selective suppliers allows for daily changes to the menu.
