The Healthy Building Certificate is one of the first worldwide certifications for buildings, professionals and products that take into consideration elements of health and wellbeing. The Healthy Building Certificate is a Certification for projects, buildings, professionals and products; as well as a system for the support and maintenance of a private sector construction ethic, whose objective is to assure and validate that living environments be healthy and/or promote well being. The Healthy Building Certificate (HBC) is awarded to projects, to buildings, and to professionals, as well as to products and methods of maintenance that promote human health and well being.
