At Healthy Black Communities, Inc. (HBC), we are dedicated to addressing health disparities and improving the quality of life for Black communities across the United States and internationally. Established in 2001, HBC is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that access to health education, preventive care, and community resources is not just a right—it’s a necessity.
Our mission is to design and implement impactful health education and disease prevention programs that target the most pressing health challenges faced by Black communities. From chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease to issues surrounding mental health and wellness, we are committed to creating solutions that are both culturally relevant and community-focused.
