HBFS Robotics

The story of our group started in 2013, when two university students have begun to grow interest into the field of robotics, trying to acquire knowledge in fields such as programming, algorithms, electronics and mechanics. From that point on, we have continuously endeavored to promote two main concepts in our work: performance and ingenuity, to not only learn and understand certain technical aspects, but also enrich them based on our own ideas and experience. From the beginning, we have mainly focused on developing different type of robots for participating in robotics contests held within universities across the country. With effort and dedication, we have succeeded in winning most national and, later, international competitions we have attended. Each time, we have placed our robots on the top positions, within the biggest robotics contests around the world. The exhaustive list of participations and prizes can be seen or our website, http://hbfsrobotics.com/ Recently, we have tried to extend our area of expertise by advancing towards more complex projects, with strong real-life applications, such as autonomous vehicles and assistive living devices. The first result was a small scale autonomous car. HBFS has experience in following domains : autonomous and remote-controlled small-scale cars, health monitoring wearables, break-out boards for state of the art sensors and electronic chips.
