HCSI seeks to fill crucial scientific gaps in the Himalayas, a region warming at three times the global rate. By supporting partnerships between scientists and Nepali community members, HCSI provides much needed training and economic opportunities to marginalized communities, while aiding climate adaptation efforts around the world.
