The Croatian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (HDBMB) is a non-profit scientific and professional organisation that gathers scientists and experts in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology in the contexts of research, education, and application.
The Croatian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is a member of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB), and Croatian Society of Natural Sciences (HPD).
The HDBMB is managed by the HDBMB Executive Committee (Chair and eight members – HDBMB Officers). The Executive Committee members are elected every two years by the General Assembly, which also elects the members of the Supervisory Board and the Court of Honour.
The head office of the Society is located in Zagreb. HDBMB branches in Osijek, Rijeka and Split take care of the Society’s activities in the respective regions.
