HDD engineering inc. was founded by Ronza Haddad, P.Eng. a structural professional engineer specialized in façade structural engineering, including windows, curtain-wall, railings, panels, cladding, glazing and glass. In Ronza’s over ten (10) years’ experience in this field, she has developed the skills for optimized engineering while ensuring that designs meet the applicable codes and standards. Ronza has extensively worked with various building envelope product manufacturers, and was involved in the design of many of the main systems being used on many projects across the GTA and in Ontario.
Ronza is proficient in the Ontario Building Code and National Building Code where applicable to building envelope structural design, as well as many relevant standards, such as Strength Design in Aluminum CSA S157, Design of Steel Structures CSA S016, Structural Design of Glass for Buildings CGSB 12.20, Building Guards CSA A500, AAMA, etc. Ronza was an integral part in developing the CSA A500 standard for Building Guards, where she worked closely with the writing team to develop the standard for building guard requirements. Ronza is currently a member of the CSA standard for Bird Friendly Building Design currently being developed.
