Horse d’oeuvres is a mother/daughter team located in Longmont, Colorado. Co-founder and daughter, Lisa, was one of those little girl’s who had the desire to always to be with horses. Thanks to her incredibly supportive family, all of her dreams came true. At 13 years old, Lisa met Cat, a 3-year-old off the track thoroughbred, who instantly stole her heart. They share a bond that is unexplainable and have been inseparable for 12 years. Cat moved everywhere with Lisa; from high school to college to graduate school to married life, they have always been two peas in a pod. No move was ever considered home until Cat arrived. Throughout all of these years, one thing never changed: Cat’s obsession with our home-baked treats. All thanks to Carolina’s, Lisa’s mom, incredible baking skills, the two came up with the perfect recipe; Cat approved. Lisa and Carolina always had a dream to share their love of Cat and their love of baking and in 2016 Horse d’oeuvres was finally born with hope that every equestrian can share their love. Through our heart shaped treats, we believe equestrians can be united by one thing: our love for the horse.
