HEAD-Nepal

Health and Environment Development, Nepal (HEAD-Nepal) is a nonprofit organization that aims to contribute in community development by combining research and actions through sustainable programmes in the areas of public health and environment. HEAD-Nepal promotes approaches for safe drinking water, sustainable sanitation, recycling, waste management, renewable energy and climate change adaptation for healthy living and clean environment. Local capacity building, knowledge-based education, health promotion, awareness, advocacy campaigns and youth empowerment are other working areas.
