Head Coach Training Center®

Now in its eighth year, Head Coach Training Center® is the premier annual event for current and aspiring college basketball head coaches. HCTC focuses exclusively on off-the-court professional development and networking opportunities for coaches who desire to learn successful strategies for pursuing and excelling in a highly coveted Head Coach position. Current head coaches will share stories about their distinct career paths and unique approaches as a Head Coach. HCTC also features collegiate ADs, athletic administrators, conference commissioners, search firm executives, industry leaders, and leadership experts who will share their individual perspectives on how coaches can thrive during the search process and succeed as a Head Coach. Since 2016, over 115 attendees have obtained a first-time or new collegiate Head Coach position, including 35 at the Division I level! For the first time, HCTC24 will offer an Assistant Coach Training Center Track that will run in conjunction with HCTC. During HCTC, the ACTC Track will feature breakout sessions where assistant coaches will learn proven strategies to improve and flourish in their current roles. Assistant coaches will also have the opportunity to network with current and future head coaches.
