Head High

We are Head High Community Interest Group and we are passionate about making a difference to people with mental health issues and their families. We intend to help battle the stigma surrounding mental health and champion mental health awareness, working within the community on different projects that really make a difference to people’s lives. Head High has been set up to really make a difference to the local community by putting mental health at the forefront of people’s minds. We want to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues and champion awareness. We all know someone who has been affected by mental health and more needs to be done so people feel they can talk about it more openly and not be embarrassed or worried by people knowing. We will be working with different groups across the community dealing with both the causes and the consequences of mental health issues. Not just with people who suffer from mental health but their families too. We’re already working on projects that will really make a difference, we hope you can join us soon. Together we can make sure no one who suffers from mental health feels alone. We want to involve the whole community in working to together to talk about and support those with mental health issues and improve the lives of all those living with mental health issue, either directly or indirectly . We aim to support those who are lonely and as a result may suffer from mental health issues and ensure that we all feel safe and cared for within our community
