With a combined focus on property development and investment, the company was a pioneer of the conversion to residential and has firmly established a reputation within the commercial and residential development sectors. Headland has a sound understanding and appreciation of what is essential in a high quality development and has achieved a diverse record of well-conceived projects and architectural gems since the company’s inception. Its concentration remains in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs and some of Headland’s more significant projects include the re-development of the historic Bryant and May match factory in Richmond into a high tech computer centre, The Madison, twelve storey apartments in Queen Street in Melbourne’s CBD and ARK Richmond, ten storey mixed-use development on Bridge Road, Richmond.
