Established in 2009 in Los Angeles; the founding partners of Headquarters Music sought to curate authentic music for the moving image. Our process rests on the strong foundation of songcraft and technical excellence. Whether our music is being heard by a boardroom of executives, on broadcast television or on the internet; our exacting quality standards never waver. "Good enough" is never good enough, and we push our unparalleled team of artists and composers to outdo themselves.
Since 2013 and the explosion of a new wave of virtual reality technology, Headquarters has taken an organizational role in the growing VRLA community, and formed The Virtual Reality Foundation to administer The Proto Awards, the first-ever awards show for Virtual Reality. As stakeholders in the VR content studio Visionary VR, Headquarters is developing an immersive music property to coincide with widespread adoption of the format.
