Our culture and performance improvement product is grounded in PhD research which examined the effects of psychological safety and leader behaviours in high-demand, high-stress work environments.
Our founder, Dr Emma Clarke, conducted surveys and interviews with an extensive group of leaders, employees, and former employees of law firms. From these insights, she developed The Three-Factor Model of Psychological Safety.™ When employees work in a climate of psychological safety this enhances performance, innovation, employee wellbeing, and retention.
We are developing a tech-based product, based on the ‘Three-Factor Model of Psychological Safety’ to identify and diagnose barriers in organizations that prevent them from building psychologically safe workplaces. The tool will also enable organizations and their leaders to gain a better understanding of the resources they make available to employees in high-stress workplaces (e.g. flexible working, autonomy, leader support, regular feedback and a culture of learning) and whether these resources are supporting employees in the way in which the employer intends them to.
We believe that organizations operating in high-stress environments stand to benefit significantly from our product, as it will help to uncover hidden structural and cultural issues that can negatively impact workplace culture and organizational performance.
Unlike solutions aimed at “fixing” problems, our approach is centered on continuous workplace culture improvement. By leveraging both existing and newly collected data, our tool will help organizations enhance what they’ve already built - driving incremental gains rather than overhauling established systems.
