HeadStartTutoring

HeadStartTutoring is a tutoring company created by Karthik Ravikumar, Shivateja Vemireddy, Kaushik Ravikumar, and Emil Irimpan. During their second semester senior year, the four high school students wondered how to use their remaining six months of high school to give back to the community that had helped them grow both academically and personally. As a result, HeadStartTutoring was born. With 13 unique courses, with its own individualized curriculum, and a 1 on 1 math help, HeadStartTutoring was designed to be an affordable tutoring service for elementary to high school students. The topics covered in courses ranged from SAT reading and Photoshop to Public Speaking and Marketing. This venture was a success, with over 30 students signing up for 4 month long courses, and resulting in many happy customers.
