SHCN is a Dutch not-for-profit foundation connecting science, industry and technology with health care providers and people needing care and support. Its vision is to support the development of innovation ecosystems that generate affordable and effective demand-led solutions for health care and support.
HCN is in its 3rd iteration. It started as an INTERREG IIIC network operation in 2005, became a UK registered (non-profit) company in 2008 and is now a Stichting registered with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce.
Our approach can be summarised as helping to close the gap between what we know and what we need to do by generating practical ‘how-to’ knowledge in all our workstreams: EU funded projects, Novel intervention along the cancer care continuum, External expertise and advice.
