Heal The Brain is a nonprofit organization founded by OT Jane Connely in January 2019 with the intention of connecting brain injury and stroke survivors with skilled clinicians and survivor mentors. Our mission is to bridge the significant gaps in aftercare for the brain injured population through education, skill-based learning and social support. We do this by developing our online community through social media, our podcast, and, most importantly, our Like-Minded workshops.
Like-Minded is a membership program for brain injury survivors, their loved ones, and caregivers. Like-Minded leaders are everything from authors, nutritionists, and yoga instructors to clinicians who are passionate about filling in the gaps of post stroke and post TBI care. Our leaders are survivors themselves or caretakers with an intimate understanding of the recovery experience. These individuals have realized that their unique journey with brain injury granted them access to a very special community. This community is a supportive group of people who have been through it all and come out of it with a burning desire to help others through this difficult time.
