We founded Health First when we realized the great impact that an effective General Agency could provide brokers. In our experience, General Agencies fell into one of two categories: those that simply contracted brokers but didn’t do anything afterward or those that provided some support but cut commissions, or charged brokers to use them. We felt that General Agencies should be investing in their brokers, rather than having brokers invest in them.
