About Healthy Homeworks
Healthy Homeworks is a nonprofit dedicated to creating pathways to attainable homeownership for first-time buyers. We envision a vibrant downtown Lewiston where proud homeowners are committed to stewardship of their neighborhoods and are building generational financial stability. Our Solution: 1. Educate & mentor members of the Lewiston-Auburn workforce who currently rent and help them navigate a successful homeownership journey. 2. Create starter home inventory that is attainable for households with incomes of $50,000-$80,000 (80-120% AMI). 3. Change systems and policies to prioritize creation of sustainable opportunities for homeownership and encourage others to join us in this work.
