Hearts (ISSN 2673-3846) is an international, peer-reviewed, scientific open access journal of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, published by MDPI online. It publishes the highest-quality material covering basic, translational and clinical research, in all areas of innovative science for cardiovascular medicine and at the interface of related disciplines. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, position papers and guideline documents, proceedings papers, letters, and communications. This multidisciplinary journal is aimed at a wide audience of both practicing clinicians and researchers, including cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, electrophysiologists, clinical physiology, interventionalists, angiologists, specialists in internal medicine, pediatrics, nurses, and others interested in cardiovascular medicine. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Electronic files regarding the full details of the experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material.
