Heath Goldfields Ltd. is the owner and operator of the Bogoso-Prestea Gold Mine, one of Ghana’s oldest and most strategically located gold assets. The mine is in the Western Region of Ghana and lies within the Ashanti Gold Belt, a highly mineralized geological formation that has produced some of the largest gold discoveries in West Africa.
With a mining history dating back to 1903, Bogoso-Prestea has played a key role in the development of Ghana’s gold industry. Heath assumed full operational control of the mine in December 2024, marking a new chapter in the asset’s long-standing legacy.
The site is positioned along a major mineral corridor, bordered by significant operations such as Obuasi to the north and Tarkwa and Damang to the south.
