I offer consulting services to government, non-profit organizations and corporations with sincere interest in reducing the human rights impacts of their operations. My objective is to ensure that corporations abide by human rights standards and prevent corporate involvement in human rights abuses wherever possible. All sectors of society have a role to play in preventing human rights abuse, including corporations. Corporations have a responsibility to act with due diligence to ensure that human rights are not being violated within the scope of their business operations. Likewise, governments have an obligation to enforce human rights standards to ensure that corporations are not involved in human rights violations regardless of where they operate. Victims of human rights abuse deserve to have appropriate and effective remedies to ensure that both businesses and governments learn from past errors.
