HeDPAC - Health Development Partnership for Africa and the Caribbean

HeDPAC - Health Development Partnership for Africa and the Caribbean, is a global health initiative that leverages the valuable lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath to promote health development across the Global South. Initially focused on strengthening the South-South partnership between the African and Caribbean regions, HeDPAC will expand its reach to address pressing health challenges of the Global South at scale. This platform is dedicated to building robust and resilient health systems to accelerate the attainment of Universal Health Coverage. Championed by the Heads of Government of Barbados, Guyana, and Rwanda and incubated at WHO HQ during its initial stages, HeDPAC's mission is to enhance institutional capacity and foster collaboration across nations. By aligning closely with existing national and regional development plans, HeDPAC ensures efficiency, synergy, and coherence in its efforts to positively impact global health.
