Heeva Foundation

Heeva is a Canadian not-for-profit organization with the mission of developing and supporting educational projects for youth in Persian-speaking countries. Heeva means “hope”, the hope that we, as the Heeva family, have to help the Persian-speaking youth to have a happier life through powerful yet entertaining education. Heeva was founded by Iranian scholars in the fields of education, sociology and women’s studies. Several members of Heeva are graduates of Iran’s well-known Sharif University who had previously established the Asemaan Group, a research centre at Sharif’s Business School. Presently, Heeva aims to connect North American academics and experts with Iranian scholars and institutions to fill in the gaps of the Iranian educational system. At Heeva, we are dedicated to producing culturally-customized, research-based material in the field of education. To reach this objective, we aim to bring together a large spectrum of international researchers, volunteers, and educators.
